BGC Williams Lake and Tim Hortons, just wrapped up the first national Holiday Smile Cookie campaign last week.
From Nov. 13 – Nov. 19, Tim Hortons restaurants in Williams Lake raised $3,400.26 for BGC Williams Lake, thanks to the generosity of local customers.
The Smile Cookie campaign was created to give guests an opportunity to give back this holiday season and help to continue making a difference in their communities.
With each Holiday Smile Cookie sold, 100 per cent of proceeds went to local charities, community groups and youth in neighbourhoods across Canada.
The funds donated to BGC Williams Lake will be used to further support the great work and great programs the group delivers to the community of Williams Lake supporting youth and their families.
“BGC Williams Lake would like to thank John, Alek, Kelly and Shelly for picking our club as the recipients of the funds and it was so fun for our staff to support the Tim Hortons team at both locations in preparing the smile cookies,” said Krista Harvey, BGC Williams Lake Club manager.
“Our community is so awesome for the donations and continued support of children and youth in Williams Lake.”
