150 Mile House Volunteer Fire Dept. hosted an all-agency emergency response training exercise Monday behind the fire hall to build on the good communication it has with other departments.
Captain Conrad Turcotte organized the event and invited the Miocene Volunteer Fire Dept., Central Cariboo Search and Rescue, Emergency Health Services B.C., the RCMP, and the Rose Lake Miocene 4-H Club, who provided actors.
“We are lucky that we have good communication with other agencies,” Turcotte said before the exercise got started. “We are doing this tonight because it’s good to continue building trust with each other.”
