The Williams Lake Cross Country Ski Club (WLCCSC) is hosting their annual open house on Saturday, Nov. 18 in the Williams Lake branch of the library.
From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the program room of the library at 102-180 Third Avenue N., volunteers from the WLCCSC will be on site so market goers and shoppers can stop in.
The open house is a chance to pick up stickers for passes for those who have renewed their memberships, to ask questions and find out more about the club or their upgrades at Bull Mountain, to get help with registration through Zone 4, or to pick up a new pass if you don’t have one from a previous year.
Membership passes with the Williams Lake Cross Country Ski Club gives access to snowshoe and cross country ski trails at the Bull Mountain Cross Country Ski and Snowshoe Area. The cross country ski area is located 16 km north of Williams Lake and includes 28 km of groomed trails. Day use fees can also be paid via etransfer or with cash at the facility.
The club maintains the facility and administers programs, including school programs and Skill Development Program (which includes Jackrabbit and Bunnyrabbit) and youth racing programs.
