As NHL development camps began in early July, former, and a current, Vernon Viper, dotted rosters across the league.
The camp rosters consisted of draft picks, signees, and invited players.
Four Vernon Vipers, both former and current, were named to rosters.
Lee Parks, who played for the Vipers during the 2022-23 season, was selected to the Philadelphia Flyers camp roster.
Parks had 48 points in 50 games for Vernon during the campaign and will be attending University of Massachusetts Lowell in the fall.
Trey Taylor was also on the Flyers roster. Taylor played three years for the Vipers, and was named an assistant captain during the 2020-21 pod season.
Throughout 125 regular season games, the 22-year-old defenceman posted eight goals and 31 assists. Taylor is entering his third year at Clarkson University.
The Vancouver Canucks picked up former Viper Christian Felton for their camp. Felton played 50 games for the BCHL club in 2019-20, accumulating 15 points.
After a stint at two NCAA schools, the 24-year-old defenceman was signed to the AHL's Abbotsford Canucks, who are the farm team for Vancouver.
Marko Bilic hasn't suited up for the Vipers yet, but the 18-year-old goaltender was selected to Vegas Golden Knights' camp.
The Toronto native will be playing for Vernon the next two seasons, before heading off to Arizona State University for post-secondary in fall of 2026.
There were BCHL players in 28 of the 31 NHL teams' camps, with the Penticton Vees leading the way, having 27 former and current players on camp rosters.
