The ghosts of Williams Lake Stampeders past will be lacing up their skates to take on this year’s present crop of players in a Stamps vs. Stamps Alumni Game over the holidays.

A fundraiser for the Central Cariboo Child Development Centre, the community is invited to come cheer on their favourite players of past and present at the event, which takes place Dec. 29 at the Cariboo Memorial Recreation Complex beginning at 7:30 p.m.

Current Stamps Alumni roster includes: Vince Kozuki, Brent MacIsaac, Dino Lecomte, Tyler Fuller, Terry Duff and Cody Lockwood on defense; Francis Johnson, Stu Sasges, Jassi Sangha, Craig Zurak, Jared Kohlen, Evan Fuller, Brady Fuller, Dan Huska, Jason Hufty, Jon Bamsey and Aaron Zurak at forward; and Justin Foote and Calvin Dubray between the pipes.

The game will also feature RC car racing during the intermission, a puck toss, plus a brand new selfie station called #GOSTAMPS. There will also be an opportunity to meet the Stamps and the alumni team.
