People of all ages are invited to learn and practice bouldering with the Williams Lake Climbing Association's (WLCA) Bouldering Club.

Sessions are every Tuesday and Thursday from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. at the Williams Lake Secondary Gym, starting on Tuesday, Nov. 5 and running until May 15.

Bouldering is a great way to gain confidence in climbing by training your body with the techniques and strength needed for rock climbing. It is a low-risk, indoor activity which does not require a rope. The only equipment needed are climbing shoes, which may be available to the public depending on sizes.

Experienced volunteers will be present to help guide new climbers who can practice bouldering at their own pace.

Membership costs $20 and includes your first two entries to the gym. For more information call 250-398-7665 or visit the WLCA website.
