Brock Hoyer will look to capture two Canadian Arenacross Championships this weekend at Chilliwack’s Heritage Park Arena.

Williams Lake’s Brock Hoyer will look to climb back atop the motocross mountain this weekend in Chilliwack when he hits the throttle for the final round of the Future West Canadian Arenacross Championship.

The 24-year-old pro rider currently sits first place on the series after four rounds of racing. The Future West Canadiana Arenacross Championship  takes place throughout a series of races in B.C. over the winter months, all wrapping up at Chilliwack’s Heritage Park Arena this Friday and Saturday, Feb. 3-4.

His best performance of the season came the weekend of Jan. 20-21 when he won three out of four main events in Chilliwack.

The combination of points and consistency throughout has given Hoyer a commanding lead over first place in the series’ AX Pro AM and AX Open Pro classes.

Hoyer currently leads with 85 points in the AX Open Pro class, while Nova Scotia’s Ryan Lockhart sits second with 64.

In the AX Pro AM class Hoyer has 88 points while Lockhart has 68.

This weekend’s racing will consist of rounds five and six, the final two of the arenacross series.

Racing starts both Friday and Saturday night at 7 p.m.
