The Grey Cup and a few B.C. Lions players will be in Williams Lake next month.
Cariboo Chilcotin MLA Donna Barnett, in a news release from the city, says residents are invited to meet the players and see the cup when the Grey Cup 2012 Tour comes to Williams Lake.
The Lions and the cup will be in the Gibraltar Room from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 2.
The players will speak to the audience, and there will be an opportunity for attendees to get autographs and take photos with the cup.
Those wishing for autographs should bring paper.
The Lions beat the Winnipeg Blue Bombers 34-23 last November in Vancouver to win the Grey Cup, the Canadian Football League's ultimate prize.
