Organizers were cruising to the tune of success following the first annual A Likely Show and Shine.
The event, held Sunday, July 8, was hosted by the Likely and District Volunteer Fire and Rescue Society (LDVFRS), with the assistance of Dan Morgan from A Likely Service.
“The Show and Shine went great,” said Carole Whitmer, a LDVFRS member and one of the event’s organizers.
“We had 54 entries. Twice as many as we expected.”
Whitmer said the event saw phenomenal support from the community, plus great weather.
