Back in 1996, then Williams Lake Mayor Walt Cobb (left), cut the cake along with past city mayors Herb Gardner and Jim Fraser at the Museum of the Cariboo Chilcotin’s first tea to celebrate the city’s birthday.
Cobb will be back again as mayor to cut the cake at the city’s 86th birthday tea coming up at the museum this Sunday, March 15 from 1 to 3 p.m.
