I am sure most of us know what the words, disgusting, disrespectful and ignorant mean.
If you do not know what these words mean just simple go and visit the BX Dog Park on any given day from the end of October to the springtime.
It is at this time that a large number of dog owners feel they do not have to carry their dog's poop back to the gates where the garbage cans are.
Instead they just leave them on fence posts, toss them onto the ground and in some cases throw them into the bush or in the worst case scenario, into the BX Creek.
This is not a small amount of bags being left behind.
I, as well as others, can end up taking 20 to 30 bags back to the garbages by the time we do one loop.
It seems that certain dog owners maybe are too good, too important, or just don't want to break a nail to carry their dog's leavings to the garbage.
I refuse to pick up after these people and all that do should stop.
Then in the spring when there are thousands of these bags showing up from the melting snow and everyone is disgusted by what they see, maybe then something will be done about it.
Until then, the people who have no respect for others, the environment and the dog park, should give their dogs to someone who chooses to be responsible for the responsibility they have taken on.
After all, their actions seem to show the quality of their character and there is already enough poop in the world and the world doesn't need yours.
