I am so disgusted with Sidney council's vote to continue to fly the U.S. flag, I can barely restrain my rage.
Canada should not be flying the flag of any country that has attacked us economically, threatens us with annexation, and treats our fellow citizens as criminals. What is wrong with these councillors?
One of the councillors who voted no said we shouldn’t be acting on the actions of one senile old man, and is apparently completely unaware that the entire U.S. government is backing all of this and is pushing for it as well.
This was a despicable by these four councillors, and you can guarantee that an organization will be created to make sure none of them are elected to council ever again.
