In loving memory ~

We are deeply saddened to announce that our loving (father/grandfather/brother) Tracie Grant passed away in Williams Lake on May 14th, 2024 at the age of 64.

Tracie was born in Vancouver, BC and raised in south Burnaby where he graduated.

He would often visit his sister and brother-in-law who lived in Williams Lake and soon grew a love for the outdoor lifestyle that the Cariboo had to offer. Not long after moving to Williams Lake he met Karen, to whom he was married and had his two daughters with.

From youth right up into his adult years Tracie enjoyed playing and watching sports. He was most fond of hockey and never missed watching a Vancouver Canucks game. He always enjoyed spending time outdoors, and really enjoyed hunting. Tracie was also known for his skills as a fisherman and always knew the best lakes to fish. Tracie was a logger for over 30 years, and this was the career he was most passionate about; he also enjoyed his time building log homes and was especially proud of completing his certificate in log home building.

Tracie was fortunate to be surrounded by his loving family which included his sisters; Karel, and Sheila, his daughters; Ashlie and Mimi, his son in law Nick, and his grandchildren; Cash, Milah, Harper, Lewis, and Sullivan.

Tracie will always be remembered for his good sense of humor, his effortless ability to make friends wherever he went, and his kind heart that always found a way to help others.
