In Loving Memory ~
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Tom Bunn. Born in Lenord, North Dakota.
He made his way to British Columbia while rodeoing. Tom was involved with many organizations as a dedicated member of the Horsefly Community and was integral to many of the community events and fundraising efforts.
He truly was a man of many cowboy hats. In his lifetime, he was a rancher, logger, school bus driver, long-haul driver, and rodeo announcer, including many auctions as well as his art, to name just a few things.
His favorite causes were the 139 children's fund, the Potato House and sustainability, as well as his love of animals, which he showed with his support for the WLSPCA.
Tom leaves behind his daughter Michelle (Ryan) Chestnut, grandchildren Michaela (Johna) Bunn-Wilson and Gage Chestnut, as well as his great-granddaughter Willow and beloved dog Jake.
He is remembered by his ex-wife, Francine Bunn (Kerry). Sister Terry (Scott) Slettebak and their children, Jason, Kristin, and Adam, and their families. Brother Steve and his kids, Bonita, Paul, and Maryann, and their families
He is lovingly remembered by many more friends, and friends who were family.
At this time, by request, there will be no memorial service. Donations can be made in his honor to The Potato House or the SPCA.
