February 3, 1943 - June 8, 2024

In Loving Memory ~

Rosilynn Mary Falk (Walsh), known to all as Lynn, passed away unexpectedly on June 8, 2024 in Alberta en route to the hospital. For the past few years, Lynn had been living part-time in Saskatchewan near the Alberta border with her adored partner Les Cookman. They were enjoying toiling in the yard and sprucing it up the way she liked.

Lynn was predeceased by her husband Allan (Curly) Falk in 2017, with whom she spent 44 years, 37 of which they enjoyed on their beautiful property above Felker Lake. She was an avid gardener, and if you knew her in the Felker years, you likely received some wonderful goodies from the land. Lynn was a larger-than-life personality, with a great sense of humour.

Rosilynn was born in Comox, BC on February 3, 1943 to Ross Walsh and Mildred (McKamey) Walsh. She grew up on Vancouver Island and spent time on the ocean with her father, who had an older son from his previous marriage named Sonny.

Unfortunately, her mother passed when she was at the tender age of 3. Lynn's father went on to re-marry Ruby Walsh, where Lynn gained another brother, Glenn. Lynn later married Bill Urquhart and had two daughters. They divorced when the girls were pre-teens, and she decided it was time to head to the mainland. It was there she met and married Allan and had another daughter.

Lynn's life revolved around her beloved kids and grandkids. The family is spread around a bit, living in different places, but Lynn was the nucleus, and everyone would come together for holidays and wonderfully home-cooked "Nana" meals that were highly anticipated! It won't be even remotely the same without her.

Rosilynn is survived by daughters Karey (Tom) Hooker, Donna (Ed) Gerbracht, Tanya (Christopher) Helekahi, Grandkids Dean Hooker, Kendra Jenner and Brett Hooker, brother Glenn (Diane) Walsh, many nieces and nephews and her partner Les.

She is predeceased by her parents Ross and Mildred, stepmother Ruby, brother Sonny (Marie), ex-husband Bill, husband Allan and many friends, relatives and cherished pets. It is certain she was met with a joyous reunion!

The family will not be holding a service, at Lynn's request, but will instead spread her ashes together when they're ready. Lynn/Mom/Nana will be missed beyond what can be expressed with mere words.
