Richard Alan Blackwood

Richard was born in Edmonton Alberta to parents Alan and Gladys Blackwood. He is survived by his mother Gladys, sisters Lynette, and Heather (Ken), brother Patrick (Donna) many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and lifelong companion Jocelyne.
He was predeceased by his father Alan and brother-in-law Larry.
The family moved to Vancouver for 8 years and then settled in Williams Lake in 1965. Richard graduated from Columneetza in 1973. Richard's love of music started early on and took him down many roads connecting him with like-minded people which developed into lifetime relationships. His last move brought him back to Williams Lake where he rekindled earlier friendships and established new ones.

In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in Richard's name to the SPCA.
