It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Michael Charles Tollefson.
Michael was born on April 3rd, 1956, in Bengough, Saskatchewan to parents, Eleanor and Clarence. He was the 2nd youngest of 8 children.
In 1974, Michael moved to Williams Lake and was employed at Tolko ( re: Lignum Forest Products) until his retirement in 2017. Michael met Nancy Dean Noskey in 1974, and together had 3 children. Son, Shane (born 1975), and daughters, Krista (born 1980) and Michelle (born 1982).
Michael enjoyed the outdoors and spent his downtime camping, fishing, and hunting.
Michael passed away on January 26th, 2023 at the age of 66. He was predeceased by his parents and 2 granddaughters. He is survived by his 3 children, 2 sons-in-law, Raymond and Trevor, 14 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.
A Celebration Of Life will be held for Michael at The Longhouse on Sunday, June 18th from 12pm-3pm.
