Passed away, at the age of 80, on April 22nd, 2022 Williams Lake B.C.
Mr. Ahdemar is survived by: His spouse Cindy Porter, daughter: Joyce Armitage (Delynn), son: Jason Ahdemar (Lisa), grandchildren: Sidney Kelso (Shelley), Bradley Kelso (Jesse), Riley, Spencer, Brandon and Angel, great-grandchild: Finley, 3 sisters: Lois (Dale) Deguire, Faye Ahdemar and Barbara (Byron) Rillings, 5 brothers: Barry (Audrey), Larry (Ellen), Duane, George (Annette) and Bruce Ahdemar.
Les was predeceased by: His father: George Ahdemar, mother: Catherine Ahdemar (nee Ahenakew) 4 sisters: Sylvia Gerard, Gwen Roth, Lynn Reedel, and Ann Whitford, 2 brothers: Garry and Adam Ahdemar
Les, known as "Derb" to family and friends, lived his life in Saskatchewan until his 20's and moved to B.C. to live in Horsefly, Tahsis, the Lower Mainland and Williams Lake.
Derb loved life and enjoyed many things such as family get-togethers, rodeos, PBR events, travelling, great restaurants and entertaining. He was known for his colourful language and great laughter. He was a kind and easygoing cowboy. Reminiscing with his sibling at life's end he said, "You know we have a great family''.
The Family wish to thank the doctors and nurses at Cariboo Memorial Hospital for their professional and kind care.
