November 10, 1926 - March 25, 2025

After a long and prosperous life, the family of Jack Robert Jorimann would like to announce his passing on March 25, 2025 at the Cariboo Memorial Hospital in Williams Lake BC. Jack was the youngest of 7 siblings and is survived by his wife of 75 years, Dorothy, and his two sons, Chris and Keith (Cathie), as well as 5 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Jack began his working career after a stint during WWII serving with the Seaforth Highlanders Regiment. He married Dorothy in Vancouver in July 1950. Jack spent time in logging camps in Port Renfrew and Port Alice and during the 50's and 60's he worked for Marshall Wells Hardware. In the mid 60's Jack joined the Placer Group to start up Endako mines in Fraser Lake and mines in Carlin, Nevada. In the late 60's and early 70's he helped start up the Gibralter Mines and stayed there from its' early construction right up until his retirement as Warehouse Supervisor in 1988.

After retirement, Jack enjoyed square dancing, camping, and camp hosting for many years. He was always willing to help out where he was needed, whether it was to serve on the strata committee of his condo complex or help his son with various projects around his house in Williams Lake. After many life adventures in Fraser Lake, Kelowna, Lumby, and Langley, Jack and Dorothy moved back to Williams Lake in 2020 and became residents at the Retirement Concepts facility.
