Helen Gail Wright (nee Cavill)

Heaven has gained another Angel. It is with deep sorrow in our hearts that we announce the passing of Helen Gail Wright (nee Cavill) at the University Hospital of Northern British Columbia in Prince George on June 13, 2023, at age 81.
Helen was born January 29, 1942, in Carlyle, Saskatchewan, parents Charles and Dorothea Cavill. She had 3 brothers, Brian, Doug, and Dave, and her "favorite" little sister, Joanne.
In 1967, she met the love of her life, her soulmate, her "Dumpie", Gary Alan Wright, in Victoria, BC. They wed soon after, on July 20, 1968. They spent many eventful and happy years together, moving to Halifax, NS, back to Victoria, BC, and then to Williams Lake, BC, for over 40 years.
After the passing of her "Dumpie" in 2020, she decided to relocate to Salmon Arm, BC, a place always dear to her heart.
Helen loved and cherished all the time she got to spend with her family and friends. She was a talented musician and a great baseball player. She had a heart of gold and was full of personality and sass with a pinch of stubbornness.
Helen is survived by her three children, Rick Wright (Karen), Lisa Tarangul (Tom), and Corey Wright (Denise); brother Doug Cavill (Joanne); and little sister, Joanne Taylor; her grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews; and the many friends whose lives she touched.
She will be greatly missed, forever loved, and never forgotten by all of us who knew her.
We can all take peace and comfort in knowing that she has gone to be with her "Dumpie".
Wherever a beautiful soul has been, there is a trail of memories.
