It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gordon Williams on April 14, 2025, at 82. He was the eldest of 4 children. Survived by his brother David, he is now above with his sisters Linda and Maureen.
Gordon (Gord/Gordy/Papa) leaves behind a legacy in his three children, Kim, Lance , and Dainia (Brendon); his grandchildren who he cherished with all his love, Alisha (Nick), Jesse, Ayla, Max, Jade and Tai.
Gordy is best known as "The Canoe Dude", he owned Ayla Canoes at Pitt Lake, and he didn't just run it, he lived it! It was his passion; he built over 100 canoes.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday May 10, 2025, from 4-6pm at the One-Way Club in Maple Ridge where Gord was the president for many years before his stroke at 62.
