It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Gayle Rodger of Williams Lake. Gayle was 98 when he passed peacefully with his family at his side on March1, 2025.
Gayle was born on December 12, 1926 and was one of 5 boys born to Melville and Nettie Rodger in Lanark County Ontario. Gayle was predeceased by his parents, brothers, wife Audrey and just recently his daughter Holly Therrien. Gayle is survived by his son Ray (Barb) Rodger, daughter Heather (Barry) McKinney, son David (Donna) Rodger, son in-law Randy Therrien, and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Gayle was a long time Cariboo resident and was a resident of Glen Arbor Seniors Complex. In his recent years, Gayle most enjoyed cruising on his scooter, playing crib with his neighbours and reminiscing of times gone by.
Gayle's family and friends meant the world to him and he will be deeply missed.
At Gayle's request, there will not be a service.
