Edward Ian Pinchbeck passed away suddenly as a result of a heart attack on December 24, 2019. Ian was 72 years old.
Ian was born June 30, 1947, in Prince Rupert, B.C. His family lived in Terrace, B.C. until the age of 16 when he moved to Williams Lake. He started his career with Lignum Ltd in the Tatlayoko Valley and later moved into Williams Lake where he worked for Lignum Ltd, Riverside Forest Products, and retired in 2009 from Tolko Ltd.
Ian is survived by his wife Rose, his children Rod (Cheryl), Aaron (Lori-Anne), Deanne (Mike) and eight grandchildren; Cordell, Conway, Melissa, Ryan, Reid, Hunter, Liam and Siena. He is also survived by his brother John of Edmonton, AB as well as other important family and friends.
Ian is preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Margaret Pinchbeck, his sister Joyce Johnson and his sister Bernice Shevalier.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1 pm Saturday, Jan. 4, 2020, at the Elks Hall in Williams Lake. If you would like to pay a tribute to Ian at the celebration please contact dmrife@telus.net to be a part of the agenda. There will be no open mic.
In lieu of flowers donations in Ian's memory may be made to Cariboo Foundation Hospital Trust.
