Talon Helicopters will be performing low-level flying for LiDAR surveys during daylight hours, as per Special Authorization issued by Transport Canada, between May 27 and July 8.
The aerial survey will cover Qualicum Beach, Parksville, Nanoose Bay, Lantzville and Nanaimo, according to a news release by the Town of Qualicum Beach. The helicopter activity has been extended from June 8.
Flight time is anticipated to be minimal, and the schedule may vary depending on weather conditions and wildfires.
