Lesley Anderson, left, and Donna Underwood, out for an evening ride, stopped by to check out a Go By Bike celebration station set up at Lower Colliery Dam Tuesday, June 4, where they signed up for prize draws and picked up some free reflectors and bike lights from sponsors, Michael Bassili, back left, and Deraek Menard of Strong Towns Nanaimo, and Alex Stanciu of Hub City Cycles.

Go By Bike celebration stations are popping up on popular cycling routes throughout Nanaimo for Go By Bike Week, June 3-8, where riders or anyone out for a walk, run or other active way of getting around, can pick up swag, snacks - even have some minor bike repairs taken care of - from local sponsors and enter to win prize draws.
