Cariboo Regional District town hall meetings continue next week so the public can provide input on the CRD’s proposed 2011 budget and five-year capital plan. The remaining meetings are scheduled as follows:

• Feb 8: Quesnel – Council Chambers, 6-8:30 p.m.

• Feb 9: Area F – Miocene Community Hall, 6-8:30 p.m.

• Feb 10: Williams Lake – Council Chambers, 6-8:30 p.m.

The CRD says the meetings are designed to explain the CRD’s budgets for the services that it provides to regional district residents.

The sessions will also outline new or expanded services being introduced in 2011 along with an opportunity to talk about community services and general issues with the CRD directors and staff. Those who miss or have missed any of the meetings can find out further information on their respective areas by viewing presentations on the CRD website at http://www.cariboord.bc.ca/WhatsNew/Town HallMeetings.aspx.
