Watch for the 29-seat big red bike touring around the city this evening, June 9.

Teams riding in the Heart and Stroke Foundation’s Big Bike Ride will be touring around the city until 7 p.m. this evening.

The first team off the mark was the Save-On-Foods and Curves combined team.

Teams are leaving from the Save-On-Foods parking lot this year, every 20 minutes or so.

Last year’s Big Bike in the Cariboo raised more than $22,000 for the heart and stroke research as well as life-saving automated external defibrillators in communities across Canada.
