A second advanced voting opportunity takes place today (Monday) for the Cariboo Regional District election until 8 p.m. in the CRD board room in Williams Lake.
Chief Election Officer Alice Johnston said people can vote for Areas E, F, J and K at the polling station and must bring two pieces of ID - one that has a signature on it, but picture identification is not necessary. The identification should prove both residency and identity.

Regular voting day is Saturday, Oct. 20 and polling stations will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the following locations.
For Area E voters go to Mountview Elementary School, Chilcotin Road Elementary School or the CRD board room.
Candidates for Area E are Angie Delainey and Melynda Neufeld
For Area F voters go to 150 Mile Elementary School, Horsefly Community Hall, Big Lake Community Hall, Likely Elementary School or the CRD board room.
Candidates for Area F are Brice O’Neill, Shannon Rerie and Conrad Turcotte.
For Area J voters go to Anahim Lake Elementary School, Naghtaneqed Elementary School, Tatla Lake Elementary School or the CRD board room.
Candidates are for Area J are Gerald Kirby, Doug Wickenheiser and Roger William.
For Area K the polling stations are Old Riske Creek School, Alexis Creek School or the CRD board room.
Candidates for Area K are Betty Anderson and Chad Mernett.
In order to vote, a person must be 18 years of age or older on voting day, be a Canadian citizen, a resident of B.C. for at least six months preceding the day of registration as a voter and a resident of or registered owner of real property in the area which the vote is taking place for at least 30 days preceding voter registration.
Area D director Steve Forseth was acclaimed.
