Advanced voting is underway at city hall in Williams Lake until 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 17.
When the Tribune popped by in the afternoon, there was a steady stream of residents arriving to vote and a volunteer scutineer in place to oversee the proceedings.
General voting day is on Saturday, Oct. 20 at Marie Sharpe Elementary School from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
In order to vote residents must be 18 years of age or older, be a Canadian citizen and a resident of B.C. for six months prior to the day of voter registration.
Voters registering at the time of voting will be required to produce two pieces of identification, at least one with a signature, that prove both residency and identity.
