The Williams Lake Stampede Grounds were busy with the Little Britches Rodeo May 25 and 26.
Competitors had to deal with wet and muddy conditions as it had been raining in the weeks leading up to the competition and it rained off and on over the weekend.
On Sunday morning a few of the cowboys and cowgirls doing goat tail tying lost a boot to the thick mud in the arena and
the dummy roping was purposely moved to a grassy section instead.
Emerging as the overall winners for the weekend were:
Molly Sanderson, West Kelowna: Junior Girls All Around
Maddy Dagg, West Kelowna: Junior Girls Reserve All Around
Rex Walden, Kamloops: Junior Boys All Around
Lane Barron, Kamloops: Junior Boys Reserve All Around
Braidey Hinsche, Williams Lake: Senior Girls All Around
Paige Cady, Kamloops: Seniors Girls Reserve All Around
