The U15 Williams Lake Timberwoles won gold Sunday morning (Jan. 28) at their home tournament.
The team hosted a six-team tournament, with teams from Quesnel, Fort St. John, Terrace, Kelowna and Vanderhoof traveling to compete.
The game got underway at 10 a.m. in Rink 1 at CMRC against Kelowna.
Final score was 3-1 for the T-Wolves.
Head coach for the team is Owen Thomas, along with assistants Troy Weil and Frankie Robbins. The trio has served as volunteer hockey coaches on and off with WLMHA for many years.
Team manager is Quynn Passeri.
