Hit-to-pass entertains crowd at Williams Lake race track

WL Forestry/NAPA Thunder Mountain Speedway was the place to be for race fans Friday night

It was a fun night to kick off WL Forestry/NAPA Thunder Mountain Speedway Stampede's race weekend.

Friday night (June 28) included King of the Hill, a smoke show and hit-to-pass for minis and full-size vehicles.

Tony Laidlaw won King of the Hill.

The crowd determined Gordan Bettles was the winner of the smoke show.

Harley Astleford won the minis hit-to-pass while Brian Bettles won the full size hit-to-pass after a final battle with Cole Byrd.

Racing events continue Saturday.
