The Williams Lake Mustangs will play their first two regular games of the season at home in the Cariboo Memorial Recreation Complex.

Their first game is Friday, Sept. 20 against Sicamous Eagles and on Saturday, Sept. 21 they will play the Merritt Centennials. Puck drops at 7 p.m. for both games.

So far around 750 fans have attended the exhibition games at home, including last Saturday, Sept. 14 when the Mustangs lost to the 100 Mile House Wranglers 6-3.

In anticipation of National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, Sept. 30, the Mustangs will wear orange jerseys on Friday, Sept. 27 when they play at home, this time against the Osoyoos Coyotes.

A former professional hockey player and now assistant coach for Williams Lake Minor Hockey, Tyler Fuller and his wife Amanda came up with the idea of the orange jersey project.
