The Cariboo Chilcotin Gymnastics Association had 36 gymnasts compete in the Kelowna Invitational at the Synergy Gymnastics Club Feb 9-11 They range from CCP Level 1-6 and Xcel Gold, Silver and Bronze. The team is coached by competitive coaching team Peggy Willcox, Annie Glanville, Shaelynn Dyck, Ariana Dyck and Mikayla Bremner.
Presleigh Schwartz won special award for best beam performance.
Xaria Jourdain and Amira Magnusson both won an award for lovely lines on floor.
Ashlynn Gibson won the powerhouse vault award.
River Frost won the confident cast award on bars.
The CCP Level 1 and Xcel Bronze won Team gold, CCP Level 2 won Team silver. These are team highest aggregate score awards. Highest three scores on each event for your team are added together.
Many medals and ribbons were won by all.
This was a huge competition and a great start to competition season. The next competition for the team is in Surrey (Carol Lenz Memorial) March 8-10.
