Four Cariboo Archers travelled to Quesnel to compete in their Indoor Target 18 Meter Goldpan 600 on Sunday, Jan. 28.
Tony Szekely came first in Pre-cub Compound at his first-ever competition.
Cameron Prest placed first in Compound Unlimited Men at what was only his second competition.
Lily Fraser placed first in Junior Women Compound and tied her personal best score of 294/300, which coach Al Campsall said is a very difficult feat during competition.
Al Campsall placed first in Masters 70 Compound.
Cara Fraser volunteered at the shoot and was unable to compete due to an injury.
Only one Monday night Ladies Only introduction to archery night is left on Feb. 5.
Monday from 6-8 p.m. at the Williams Lake Sportsmen’s Association indoor venue on Bond Lake Rd.
So far, eight women have attended.
Then, Gentlemen Only nights will include February 12, 19, 26 and March 4 also at 6-8 p.m.
The sessions are for anyone who wants to try archery or to improve their skills.
