A local boxer and wrestler's assault case was back in a Williams Lake court room May 21.
Stuart McLellan is known for both boxing and wrestling, and is one of the performers with the local pro wrestling community. McLellan is facing multiple assault charges related to incidents said to have taken place in February and then November of 2023, and in March, May and June of 2024.
McLellan did not appear in person, but lawyer A. Kaiser was there to request the case be adjourned to June 11.
Kaiser said he hoped to be prepared for an arraignment by the new court date.
In an arraignment appearance, the charges are usually read and the accused can enter a guilty or not guilty plea.
The charges have not yet been proven in court.
He is next scheduled to appear on June 11 at 9 a.m. in room 410 in Williams Lake Law Courts.
