Wells woman dies in BASE jumping accident in Squamish

A GoFundMe has been started for the loved ones of Katelyn "Compton" Escott.

Tributes are pouring in on a Facebook page dedicated to the memory of Katelyn "Compton" Escott who died in a BASE jumping accident at the Stawamus Chief in early December.

RCMP, Search and Rescue and paramedics attended the scene but the BASE jumper, who was later identified by friends and family as Escott, was found deceased.

A GoFundMe was launched to support her loved ones.
