Snowing in Williams Lake, DriveBC warns of slippery conditions

Snow is falling in Williams Lake Thursday, Jan. 23, but is expected to end by the afternoon with amounts between two and four centimetres in the forecast. 

With the snow comes a warning from DriveBC to watch for slippery conditions on highways and roads in the Cariboo Chilcotin. 

Temperatures are at -4ºC with a windchill of -10ºC notes Environment Canada and Climate Change, adding that more snow is expected in the Cariboo Mountains and Thursday evening's low could be -9ºC with a wind chill of -14ºC for the Williams Lake area.
