Sidney is kicking off its Pride weekend with a vibrant celebration of diversity and inclusion, headlined by the highly anticipated Roller Disco’s Pride Night on June 13.

Mary Winspear Centre will transform into a dazzling rink of colourful lights and upbeat music, inviting skaters of all skill levels to join in the fun.

Doors and the skate shop open at 6:30 p.m., with the skating event starting at 7 p.m.

Beyond the roller rink, Sidney Pride is hosting a full slate of activities on June 14, including performances, a drag story time with Sashes and Lashes and the mesmerizing Bubble Guy.

Over 20 queer and ally vendors will also be participating in the festival.

Furry friends are also welcome to join the celebration at the Beacon Bandshell from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. for a special photo op and treats.

The festival's Kids Zone will offer free rainbow ribbon wands to the first 150 children, courtesy of Buddies Toys.

To cap off the weekend, Small Gods Brewing is hosting "Cheers for Queers" from 7-10 p.m., featuring a costume contest and multi-decade hits spun by DJ Black Tux.

A portion of the proceeds from the roller disco will support Pride Sidney, ensuring that the celebration’s impact extends beyond the weekend itself.
