The Qualicum School District reports all schools are open today (Wednesday, Nov. 20), following a significant windstorm Tuesday evening.
A release from the district early Wednesday said buses are running, with some delays anticipated depending on road conditions and locations of BC Hydro work crews.
"Please consider your local conditions when sending/driving your children to school," read the release. "Students and staff are asked to dress warmly as schools will be cooler than normal. Please stay safe and we thank you for your patience as crews work to restore power throughout the district."
