Roads across the community are about to get a makeover.
The Town of Princeton awarded the 2025 Annual Road Line Painting project to Aardvark Pavement Marking Services for a maximum sum of $36,204.58 before tax. An additional $1,795.42 in contingencies was also approved by council during the June 18 regular meeting, for a total of $38,000 to be paid through the Road Maintenance budget in the 2025-2029 Financial Plan.
The project will start during the second week of July and includes all road marking long lines, crosswalks, curbs and parking stalls within the Town of Princeton limits. Long lines will be painted first, followed by crosswalks and parking stalls near the end of the month.
"Aardvark Pavement Marking Services has been providing line painting for the Town of Princeton for the past 20-plus years," Princeton manager of civic works Jared Thomas said. "They have an intimate knowledge of our infrastructure and have provided excellent service."
