Thousands of Vernon and area residents were without power Wednesday afternoon.
There were four separate outages, all sparked around 12:30 p.m.
BC Hydro had crews are on-site and restored the outages before 2 p.m.
The Village Green Shopping Centre was among 1,773 customers without power on and around 48th Avenue.
Another 1,718 customers were in the dark up Silver Star Road.
A total of 3,162 properties were without power in the Middleton Mountain and Coldstream areas.
Further down Kalamalka Lake and into Lake Country there were 2,167 customers without electricity.
The cause of the outages is believed to be equipment failure.
