A man has been charged in connection to a motor vehicle incident on the Spokin Lake Road in the Cariboo on Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2024.
Darcy Todd Beckman is charged with dangerous operation of a vehicle, flight from police, theft of a motor vehicle and driving while disqualified.
Beckman, who was born in 1989, was to appear in B.C. Provincial Court in Williams Lake on Thursday, Jan. 2, 2025, with a next court appearance scheduled for Jan. 3, 2025.
Police confirmed Tuesday that they were on scene at Spokin Lake Road and that the road was closed for several hours, but did not provide any further updates.
