Legion poppy campaign underway in Williams Lake

The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 139  has officially launched its 2024 Poppy campaign in Williams Lake. 

Legion president Walt Cobb pinned a Poppy on acting mayor Scott Nelson in front of the cenotaph outside city hall on Tuesday, Oct. 22. 

"Emails have been sent out, please check your spam and other folders for this year's campaign information," said Legion member Bonnie O'Neill. "If we have missed you and you would like to participate, please contact us."
