The body of missing person Kielan Hall, who was last seen on March 14, 2024, at 23 years old, has been recovered.

On Wednesday, May 14, police discovered Hall's body when executing a search warrant at a leased home in a mobile home park on the Songhees Reserve Lands.

While their original warrant was related to drug trafficking under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act, the discovery of human remains prompted the execution of an additional search warrant on the property.

Since the body was discovered, investigators have confirmed the identity of the remains to be those of Hall.

The circumstances surrounding Hall's death are under investigation by the Vancouver Island Integrated Major Crime Unit (VIIMCU). As the investigation is ongoing, no further details will be released at this time.

Hall was reported missing in March of last year.

"We are so grateful for all of those who gave their time and effort to support our family over the past year. It has amazed us the amount of love and compassion that we have received from so many," stated Kielan Hall's father, Sheldon Hall, on the Finding Kielan Hall Facebook page. He is asking for the public to respect the family's privacy at this time.

"To those who went above and beyond to help us in our greatest time of need, we can not thank you enough. All I can say is we love you. Kielan James Hall, finally be at peace, my son. We will all see you in the next life."

If you have any information regarding the investigation, please contact VIIMCU by calling 25--380-6211.

"West Shore RCMP extends its condolences to Kielan Hall’s family and friends during this difficult time," said Cpl. Nancy Saggar, Media Relations Officer for West Shore RCMP.
