Start the month with a night of laughter as comedian Sophia Johnson takes the stage on Saturday, Feb. 1 at 8 p.m. Hailing from New Zealand, Johnson has made her mark as an actor with appearances on Netflix’s Ash vs. Evil Dead, CW’s Legends of Tomorrow and Nancy Drew. A seasoned performer, she’s written for the popular NZ comedy show 7 Days and recently showcased her comedic chops in The New Wave of Stand-Up on CBC Gem. Singer-songwriter Ryan McMahon celebrates 25 years in the music industry this year with his latest tour, Learning to Shine. McMahon will be making a stop at the Osborne Bay Pub on Thursday, Feb. 8 for a 7:30 p.m. show. Known for his heartfelt folk, roots and contemporary rock sound, Ryan has spent the last year promoting his album Live Now and touring alongside Canadian legends Tom Cochrane and Burton Cummings.
