TNG career fair underway in Williams Lake

Job seekers are invited to connect with employers in the Gibraltar Room from 12p.m. to 6p.m.

The Tsilhqot’in National Government (TNG) is hosting its annual career fair today, Sept. 24 from noon to 6 p.m.

“It’s important because it gets the word out there,” said Amanda Bailey, human resources generalist and wellness coordinator with the Tsilhqot’in National Government.

Bailey said this is the first time the career fair stretches into the evening, intended to widen access to the fair. TNG also offers additional services for members of the Tsilhqot'in communities looking for professional development.

The event is taking place in the Gibraltar Room at the Cariboo Memorial Recreation Complex, just through the building’s front doors and to the right.

There are about 28 businesses and organizations present for attendees to connect with, and there's also a chance to win door prizes if you submit a feedback form at TNG’s booth.
