A pedestrian has died following a highway crash near the Petro-Canada station Nanoose Bay on Jan. 3.
The morning crash took place in the southbound lanes of Highway 19, near Northwest Bay Road.
Ambulance personnel were called to the scene at approximately 7 a.m. and Oceanside RCMP reported the fatality.
Traffic was delayed for several hours in both directions, with another incident also delaying traffic that morning, according to DriveBC.
