Out-of-control wildfire spotted near Dog Creek Saturday

Wildfire estimated to be around seven hectares in size

The red dot on this screenshot represents the currently out of control wildfire C21963, which is close to C21960, which is being held, as well as C21974 and C21972, which is under control.

An out-of-control wildfire is burning near Dog Creek.

BC Wildfire Service says that C21963 is burning out of control around 1.8 kilometres northwest of Dog Creek Aerodrome, with the suspected cause being lightning. The wildfire is around seven hectares in size.

BCWS says that crew and aviation resources are on the scene responding to the wildfire.
