A Qualicum Beach author is inviting book worms to the launch of her romance novel at Courtyard Coffee on June 7.
Her book All That He Is started as a short story more than a decade ago, according to Karalena Walsh.
The book is published by a small local company called Weaver of Words Publishers, founded by Marva Blackmore, with illustrations by Qualicum Beach artist Jessy Watson.
"When I met Marva, my editor, I decided to take this off the dusty shelf. I had always wanted to write this novel as everyone in my writing class enjoyed it so much. It is the first chapter of my novel," Walsh told the PQB News. “A fun romp into the world of contemporary romance reminding you that sometimes love finds you when you least expect it.”
The book launch will go from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Courtyard Coffee is located at 673 Memorial Ave., in Qualicum Beach.
Coffees, beverages and wine will be available for purchase.
